"it’s crucial that we streamline the process of clinical trials and regulation to help draw them out and scale them up, so everyone can benefit from them."
I'm in a clinical trial now, but the process of finding it and getting into it was (and still is) insane. My wife wrote about that: https://bessstillman.substack.com/p/please-be-dying-but-not-too-quickly. She was worried about the length and level of detail, though I argued anyone with the misfortune of needing a clinical trial will appreciate understanding the process.
I'm really very sorry to hear that, that sounds very painful to go through. Very glad to hear you've been enrolled in a trial, and writing about the process from a patient's perspective is really helpful to me and others
A much needed newsletter that makes research more accessible. Would love to see you branch out to more topics, not just relegated to healthcare/biotech.
I'm a budding researcher myself and will soon be completing the first anniversary of my own newsletter (curated articles on geopolitics, finance, technology, startups, and more).
Would love to have a chat on research in general, how to build a newsletter, how do you manage to do so many awesome things, studying abroad, etc.
Please let me know if you're available.
Thanks!
P.S: I've already recommended your newsletter on the home page :)!
You do awesome work!
A great read! Thanks for the work you do for humanity.

That resonates: I'm dying from squamous cell carcinoma, in part likely due to the slowness of the existing process: https://jakeseliger.com/2023/07/22/i-am-dying-of-squamous-cell-carcinoma-and-the-treatments-that-might-save-me-are-just-out-of-reach/#comments.

Why didn't anyone tell me about the Wolbachia mosquitoes before? It's good to know about them now, at least.
Great work. Great read. Truly enjoyable!
I love your stuff, keep up the good work 💚 🥃
Useful and interesting. And great writing. Thanks for assembling!
