Would be interesting to know whether high breathing infection deaths during first years is because of underdevelopment or genes (those with worse working immune systems die as baby, leaving survivors with lower risk).
Corona caused a possibility to study this, since in many areas first infections were delayed. If elevated risk of death also applied to children 1..2 years older than usual in 2022, then it was genes, if not then immaturity.
